Weekly Digest #85
Hi! How are you today?
I know, I know. I disappeared and I’m sorry. I must comment I really missed writing you letters.
But, as Carrie Bradshaw one wisely said: there is a battle between what we know and how we feel. And I’ve been feeling great and awful at the same time.
A lot has happened since I last wrote to you. As I told you, I started a new job recently, as a text revisor - and that is the great part.
What I didn’t tell you is that my uncle Silvio died - that is the awful part. And writing these words already fills my eyes with tears.
Yes. It sucks. And, at the same time, that is just how life is.
So for the past weeks I got completely caught up in working and tried to get used to the idea of never seeing this person I love again. It’s ridiculous and it drives me crazy, but maybe you can relate to that.
Anyway, this week somebody I follow on Instagram shared an article from British Vogue that got me hooked and made me realize I miss reading random columnists. Browsing through their website I came across Annie Lord‘s column, in which she shares insights about situations from her daily life, and found this article, to which I could relate in some ways.
It felt like everyone was having more fun than me. Life felt like it was passing me by again.
But life is made of cycles and I know this too shall pass.
So I’m waiting. And I’m back. :)

My mind has been all over the place these days and all I really look for at the moment is some peace of mind. So I found this playlist, which has accompanied me in many Yoga sessions and text revisions.
Music for Plants is the perfect background sound, with mellow vibrations for green leaves, green thumbs and green ears.
